Sweden Address Data Now Available

10 March 2026

We're excited to announce that Sweden is now available on Addressable, joining Australia and New Zealand as our third supported country.

Like Australia and New Zealand, Sweden has committed to open data, with address data provided by Lantmäteriet, the national mapping and cadastral authority. This means we can offer Swedish address search and geocoding with the same high quality and reliability that our users expect from our other countries.

What's included

Swedish address data is sourced from Lantmäteriet, Sweden's national mapping and cadastral authority, and licensed under CC BY 4.0. The dataset covers addresses across Sweden, including street numbers, streets, localities, postcodes, districts and municipalities.

Like our other countries, Swedish address data supports both autocomplete and reverse geocoding queries. Use the country code se in your API requests to search Swedish addresses.

Data processing

All Swedish address data is stored and processed on servers located in Europe. Requests via api.addressable.dev are routed through these servers to ensure compliance with data protection regulations. We update the dataset weekly to ensure accuracy and coverage.

På svenska

Vi är glada att kunna meddela att Sverige nu finns tillgängligt på Addressable. Både autokomplettering och omvänd geokodning stöds — använd landskoden se i dina API-förfrågningar.

Getting started

If you're on an Addressable Large plan, Sweden is already included — no changes needed. If you're on a Small plan, you can select Sweden as your country from your account page. Visit our API documentation for details on using the autocomplete and reverse geocoding endpoints.
