Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) have modernised their address management system, replacing the legacy Address Information Management System (AIMS) with a new cloud-based system.
The new system provides improved data quality and coverage, still with weekly updates and strong support for geocoding and address validation. Addressable has integrated these changes, so our users can continue to rely on accurate and up-to-date address data for New Zealand without any changes required on their part.
Our history of processing NZ data shows consistent, steady growth in address coverage, with the NZ dataset growing from around 2.4 million to nearly 2.5 million addresses over the last two years. This pattern of reliable week-on-week growth ensures that your address lookup queries are comprehensive and current.
