We've updated Addressable with the latest G-NAF (Geocoded National Address File) release from Geoscape Australia. The G-NAF is Australia's authoritative address database, covering every physical address across the country.
Our AU data history shows the ongoing growth in coverage over time. This release was unusual in that we saw a decrease in the total number of addresses, confirmed by G-NAF, which is a reminder that sometimes less is more.
The G-NAF data is continually refined and improved, with updates that add new addresses, remove duplicates, and correct inaccuracies. This process ensures that the data remains high quality and reliable for address lookups.
